I hoped up and down with joy when I saw the Alexa Chung for Madewell collection - only available in the US which is booooo- but it is still totally blissful. I loved nearly every item and would dearly love to own it all. I have this preppy style at my heart, fall out from boarding school, but I love knee socks and scarves and long cardigans, timetables and books and lists..................... oh my!

The Courage of Others

Last night the boy and I went to Midlake. They were AMAZING. So melodic so beautiful. I loved their music before and I love them even more now. Tired today though, we didn't get in, until one am so I really dipped this afternoon. The boy is having a stressful day, so , this evening I am going to make him a very delicious supper to cheer him up a bit.

The weather has promised SNOW SNOW SNOW and there was silly me, hoping in vain for, SPRING SPRING SPRING PLEEEEEEEASE!

Today there is a spring feeling in the air. I can sense the better things to come and hopefully bo more snow. I have an urge to sort out my plant pots and open windows and let some spring in. It has been a long winter. I am slowly wearing less layers of clothes as it has become a little warmer- I love my winter clothes but I am longing for spring and summer lighter garments now!

Joy - Tonight we, the boy and I are going to Midlake. I am so excited. They make the most gorgeous music.
